Alerts show on your stream when a viewer redeems a card, buys or gifts packs, or sends an emote or reaction. To show them, you add your alerts URL to your streaming software as a browser source.
Adding the Alerts to Your Stream
- Go to Alerts & Widgets and copy your alerts URL. Don't share it with anyone: anyone with the link can see your alerts.
- In your streaming software, add a browser source and paste the URL.
- Click Test Cards or Test Purchases to check that they appear.
Step-by-step guides for each program: OBS, Twitch Studio and TikTok Live Studio.
Emote Alerts
Emotes use a different URL. Go to Subscriptions › General settings, copy the URL under “Emotes” and add it as a second browser source.
Customizing the Alerts
In Alerts & Widgets you can change how long alerts last, their sound and image, and whether a voice reads the message (see Configuring Text to Speech). Each card can also have its own alert, set up when you edit the card.
If alerts don't show up, see Troubleshooting Alerts.
