An animated card stands out more in your collection and on stream. A card has two images, and both can be animated:
- Card image: what viewers see in your collection. JPG, PNG, or GIF if you want it animated.
- Alert: what shows on stream when the card is redeemed. An image (JPG, PNG or GIF) or a video, usually MP4 or WebM.
Making the Animation
The Streamloots card creator doesn't support animations: if you upload a GIF, it only keeps the first frame. To animate a card, make it in another program (Photoshop, GIMP or any editor you know) and upload the finished file.
To keep the look of a Streamloots template, open it in the card creator, right-click the card and choose Save image as. Then animate it in your editor.
There are free online tools that turn a video into an animated GIF.
