Tips for Using Coupons

Coupons help you sell more, but used too often they make your cards lose value: viewers pile up cards and stop buying at full price.

Discount Coupons

• Go for 5% to 20%. Save bigger discounts for very special occasions.
• Make the code easy to remember, so you can say it on stream and viewers remember it when they buy.
• Give it visibility: on screen, in your stream title and on social media.
• If you're going to remove cards or a whole collection, a 20% coupon is a good way to make up for it.

Don't run discounts all the time. If viewers get used to them, they'll only buy when there's one.

Free Pack Coupons

• Keep the number of uses low. Viewers will pay more attention to your chat and social media so they don't miss the next one.
• Use them when someone raids you, to welcome the new viewers and show them your collection.
• Drop one in chat or on social media now and then to thank your most loyal viewers.
• Tie them to goals, such as “If we reach 40 packs, I'll drop a coupon for 5 free packs in chat”.
