Card Timer Overview

The Card Timer allows you to keep track of all the interactions that must be performed for a specific period of time. For example: Play with 1 hand for 2 minutes.

Adding the Card Timer to your streaming software

1. Go to Alerts and Widgets > Card Timer
2. Copy the link, create a browser source in your streaming software and paste the link
3. Edit the cards you want to appear in the timer and enable the Card Timer option
4. Card Timer is up and running!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't the card timer widget show up?

The Card Timer only appears when a card is played. If someone has played a card and the Card Timer doesn’t show up, remember to double-check you have completed all the steps:

1. You have pasted the Card Timer widget URL in your streaming software
2. You have edited the cards you want to appear in the Card Timer, and you have enabled the Card Timer setting.

What happens when a card that has been played already is still in the Card Timer?

You can't play a card that is in the Card Timer already. When the card disappears from the timer widget and the cooldown is reset, the community will be able to play it again If the card had a bigger cooldown than the time required to do the action. The cooldown will not be modified.

We DO NOT recommend using the Card Timer with chat Timeout cards, since you can do that already from the streaming website.

Can I cancel or delete an action from the Card Timer?

There is no way to remove the interactions that have already been added to the Card Timer queue. You need to wait for the time to expire. By switching off and on again the Card Timer browser source from your streaming software, you will delete all the cards on queue.

Can I make cards appear on the Timer Widget later?

You can adjust how much delay time you want between the time the card is played until the card appears on the Card Timer.

Can you customize the Card Timer text?

You can choose if you want the card name, description, or alert message. This configuration will be applied to all the cards.
