With tips, your viewers can send you money directly, without buying packs or subscribing. Each tip appears on your stream with the alert the viewer picks and their message.
Turning On Tips
- Go to Configuration › Page settings in the creator side menu.
- In “Streamloots Modules”, turn on Tips.
A red Send Tip button then appears on your public page, next to Subscribe and Get my packs. If you turn the module off, the button disappears.
Showing Tips on Stream
Tips use the same alert as cards and subscriptions, so if the Streamloots alert is already in your streaming software, there's nothing else to do. If it isn't, go to Tips › Settings in the creator side menu, click Click to show URL and add that URL as a browser source. The steps are in Adding Alerts in OBS.
Choosing the Alerts
Under “Tip Alerts” you'll see every animation available (Dancing Dino, KEKW, Baby Yoda and more). Viewers can only choose the ones with a green tick. Click an alert to tick or untick it, and use its play button to preview it.
Seeing Who Has Tipped You
The Tippers tab shows how many viewers have sent you tips and who they are.
How Much You Earn
The minimum tip is €1 or $1, depending on your currency. You keep 80% of each tip, or 90% if you're a Partner. Tips go to your balance and are paid out with your pack and auction sales, on the 1st and/or the 15th of each month.
The full breakdown is in Streamloots Cost, and the payout dates in Sales and Payout Frequency. To see what your viewers see, read Sending a Tip to a Streamer.
