Fees and Payments
How Much Does Streamloots Charge?
4% of the final price for Partners and 8% for everyone else. The payment provider also takes its fee:
- 1% + €0.15 if the buyer is in the European Economic Area.
- 2.9% + $0.30 if the buyer is anywhere else.
How Do Viewers Pay?
By credit or debit card only.
How Do I Know the Winner Will Pay?
Every bidder leaves a €10 or $10 deposit with their first bid. Bidders who don't win get it back a few hours after the auction ends.
How Do I Know the Winner Has Paid?
The auction is marked as paid in your auction list, you get a notification and the money is added to your balance. Auctions don't appear under Orders, which only lists pack purchases and gifts.
What Happens if the Winner Doesn't Pay?
The winner has 7 days to pay. If they don't, you keep their deposit and can run the auction again. If you'd rather give it to the next highest bidder, open a ticket and we'll do it for you.
If the Auction Ends in a Different Month, When Do I Get Paid?
The money counts for the month in which the auction ends.
Setting Up the Auction
What Starting Price Should I Set?
If the reward costs you money, add up its cost, shipping and both fees. For example, a $20 T-shirt with $5 shipping costs you $25. After the 8% Streamloots fee and the card fee (2.9% + $0.30), you need to sell it for at least about $29 to cover costs.
How Long Should It Last?
Up to 7 days, but we recommend a single day. Most activity happens at the start and at the end.
Can I Cancel an Auction?
Yes.
Does Streamloots Handle Shipping?
No. If you auction a physical item, you send it yourself and should include shipping in the starting price.
Can I Auction Cards or Packs?
We don't recommend it. Auctions aren't linked to cards, so the winner doesn't receive anything they can redeem: you'd have to deliver the reward yourself.
How Do I Contact the Winner?
Once they pay, their email appears in your auction list. You can also reach them on Twitch, Discord or any other platform if you know them.
