How should I start?

If I auction physical items, does Streamloots handle shipping?

Streamloots does not handle any shipping. If you are auctioning physical items, you must consider shipping costs, as well as payment method or Streamloots fees when setting the starting bid minimum bid.

Can I auction Streamloots cards or packs?

You can auction anything you want. However, auctions are not related to cards or chests in any way, so we do not recommend it. 

If you want to auction an interaction nonetheless, the winner will not receive any card that they can use in your live games, you will have to contact them to hand over the reward.

How do I contact the winner?

Once the auction ends and the winner completes the payment, you will be able to see the email in your auction list. If you know the winner, you can also contact them via Twitch, Discord, or any other platform. 

How do I know if the winner has paid? 

Once the winner pays, you will see it in the auction list of your creator mode. You will also receive a Streamloots notification and the money will be added to your current month's balance.

Remember that nothing will appear in your order list, as only purchases and chest gifts are listed there at the moment. 

How much is the Streamloots fee? 

During the Auctions beta, Streamloots commissions will be 4% for Partners and 8% for all other users. 

Remember that payment platforms also take a commission percentage of the total amount. For the moment, auction payments can only be made via credit card, and the commissions are:

• 1% + 0.15€ if the buyer is from the European economic zone.
• 2.9% + 0.30$ if the buyer is from any other part of the world. 

What starting bid should I place?

If you are auctioning physical items that will require shipping, you should consider:

• Price of the item to be auctioned.
• Shipping costs
• Payment method fees (about 2%).
• Streamloots fee.

For example, if you are auctioning a $20 T-shirt and the shipping costs are $5, we recommend that the minimum auction is at least $10.

How long should the auction last?

The maximum allowed at the moment is 7 days, although we recommend that auctions are held on a single day. Most of the auction's activity is on the first and last day.

What are the payment methods?

We only support credit card at the moment. 

What happens if the winner does not pay? 

You will receive the winner's deposit and will be able to celebrate the auction again.

In the future, if after 48 hours the winner has not paid, you'll be able to set the next biggest bidder as the winner.

If the auction starts in one month and ends in a different one, what happens with the money?

The auction payment will be done in the month the auction ended.

How do I know the winner will pay?

All bidders have a $10 or €10 deposit on the first bid. This deposit will be automatically debited.

Can I cancel an auction?

Yes, you can cancel an auction.

When is the $10 deposit refunded for users who didn’t win the auction? 

The deposit for non-winners will be refunded within a few hours after the auction has ended.
