What Are Powers?

Visual effects that play with the cards you redeem, on any streamer's stream. You can see them all on the Powers page.

How Do I Get Them?

By completing achievements: buying packs, redeeming cards, crafting or destroying cards, or suggesting cards to streamers. Each achievement says which reward it gives. You can also get some in the Points Store. Most Powers can only be earned for a limited time, and we add new ones every month and for events like Halloween or Christmas.

How Do I Turn One On?

• From the Powers page, in the side menu: click a Power you've unlocked.
• From a card: click the card you're going to redeem, then the top right corner, and choose a Power.

The Power you choose is used for all your cards until you change it. To turn it off, choose No effect. Do it before redeeming a jump-scare card, so the streamer doesn't see it coming.

Do Powers Have Sound?

Many do, but it doesn't always play: each streamer decides whether Power sounds play on their stream, and they never replace a card's custom sound.

Are They Mine Forever?

Yes, once you get a Power you keep it. A few can only be used for a limited time, and their details show the end date.

Can I Use Them With Any Streamer?

Yes.

I'm a Streamer. Can I Upload My Own Powers?

Not yet. Streamers can choose whether Powers play sound on their stream: see Configuring the Streamloots Powers' Sound.
