Changing Username and Connected Platforms (Different Scenarios)

Scenario 1: You want a name change while keeping the same Main Streaming Platform connected

To solve this, please follow these steps:

1. Change your name in your connected platform (e.g., Twitch)
2. Check profile changes in Streamloots

Scenario 2: You want a name change, but the username is taken by another platform

Case A

1. If the platform you would like to use is not connected to any other Streamloots account, go ahead and connect it to your main Streamloots account
2. Choose the desired platform as Main Streaming Platform
3. Check profile changes in Streamloots

Case B

1. In case that platform is being used by another Streamloots account (perhaps created by accident), you can either access the Streamloots account and delete it or simply connect another platform to it (select it as Main Streaming Platform). This will free the platform you'd like to connect to your main Streamloots account.
2. Now that the platform is usable, go to your main Streamloots account and connect the platform
3. Once again, select it as Main Streaming Platform
4. Check profile changes in Streamloots

Case C

1. If you don't have access to that old Streamloots account and therefore, can't delete or connect another platform to it, let us know if you'd like to delete or recover it
   1. If you wish to delete it, submit a ticket here, and we'll take care of that
   2. If you'd like to regain access, let us know, and we'll provide a temporary access link
2. In both cases, the connected platform will be freed, and you'll be able to connect it to your main Streamloots account
3. Once connected, select it as Main Streaming Platform
4. Check profile changes in Streamloots
